Thank you to the 4-H club sponsored by Gayle Hanson for their help with the Non-Food Pantry distribution in the month of May. They helped on Thursday to pack the bags and prepare and also came on Saturday for the distribution.

Students Sharon Maes, Courtney Crosby and Sandra Bertin helped out in late January. These students encouraged other DePauw students to join them in supporting the project. At the DePauw Community Service Fair, 23 students expressed interest in the program.

In lieu of doing a gift exchange in their classroom, the boys and girls in Mrs. McCammack’s class demonstrated the true meaning of the Christmas spirit by bringing in items for others in need. The St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church hosted a Non-Food Pantry on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 1-3 p.m. In honor of Halloween, the event also provided special treats for children which came in bags decorated by the children from St. Andrew’s Sunday school.
