Our focus this week turns to the second chapter of Paul’s first letter to the Corinthians, where Paul contends that “eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor the human heart conceived the things God has prepared for those who love him … these things God has revealed to us by his Spirit.” Rather than a text about heaven, as it is commonly understood and quoted, Father John points out that Paul is referring to realities available to us now because of our connection to God in Christ. This sermon explores our experience of God-given peace and guidance we can experience in this life.
