Beginning a new sermon series based on Paul’s letter to I Corinthians, Father John explores what attitudes and behaviors increase spiritual power in the church community, and those that decrease power. In this first sermon, Paul’s words about the “foolishness” of the cross give insight on how the early Christians found spiritual power in the life and example of Jesus – especially in the message of the cross.

In this initial sermon, he explores the notion of following God’s call right where we currently find ourselves in life. What if we feel our job is tedious and trivial? How can we approach work as an assignment from God, pursuing it with great faithfulness?
