Today I give thanks for the freedom to worship and our democratic process in these great United States!
I awake to NPR each morning and much to my surprise, Yesterday I awoke to radio voices telling me that the Ivory Coast just had an election and that the loser refused to concede his loss. He was held up in a hotel there with armed guards. There was talk of a civil war. This could affect part of our extended church family—The Malms–yes Henry’s family– in Ghana, as this is the country just to the west of them. Please pray for a peaceful resolution to this conflict and for the safety of those very hospitable Ghanaians!
God’s peace,
Jenny
Enjoy the precious sunshine today!
